Rewrite the following sentences changing the verbs into past tenses.

1.       I wonder what he has done with the money I lent him.

2.       He does everything he can to show us that he is innocent.

3.       No matter what the boy has done, he does not deserve so heavy a punishment.

4.       He runs so fast that he is soon out of breath.

5.       I infer from what he says that he is not in the right mood to listen to my advice.

6.       It is evident that he is insane.

7.       What I know I can’t tell.

8.       He comes to my house every evening to tell me what has happened.

9.       The boy who chooses the best books for his study will find his reward.

10.   I promise that no one will be punished for expressing their opinion.
