Position of adverbs

Insert the words given in the brackets into appropriate places in the sentence.

An example is given below.

  • I have received the parcel. (already)
  • I have already received the parcel.

Notes

The adverb usually goes after the auxiliary verb and before other verbs. If there are two auxiliaries, the adverb goes after the first.
