Conversation 1

First speaker: Excuse me. Is this the right way for the railway station?

Second speaker: No, you’re going the wrong way. Take that road. It’s down there.

First speaker: Thank you.

Second speaker: Welcome.

Conversation 2

First speaker: I’m looking for this address.

Second speaker: I’m sorry. I’m not from around here. You could perhaps ask that traffic cop.

First speaker: It’s okay. Thank you.

Conversation 3

First speaker: Excuse me. Could you tell me if I am on the right road for Thane?

Second speaker: I’m afraid you’re going in the wrong direction. You’ll have to go back and take that road.

First speaker: Thank you very much.

Second speaker: That’s OK.

Conversation 4

First speaker: Excuse me, how far is it to the airport from here?

Second speaker: It’s about ten kilo metres from here.

First speaker: So I’ll have to hire a taxi. Could you tell me where the taxi stand is?

Second speaker: It’s not far from here. Go straight ahead for about 100 yards.

First speaker: Thank you very much.

Second speaker: Not mention it.

First speaker: Excuse me, how far is it to the beach from here?

Second speaker: It’s quite close. Take this way. You can go on foot.

First speaker: Thank you.
