Adverbs exercise (beginner level)

Adverbs are words which describe actions. Examples are: here, now, soon, suddenly etc.

Some adverbs describe how an action is done. These are called adverbs of manner. Examples are: slowly, carefully, kindly etc.

Some adverbs say where something happens. These are called adverbs of place. Examples are: outside, inside, upstairs, here, there etc.

Some adverbs say when something happens. These are called adverbs of time. Examples are: soon, now, then, yesterday, last week etc.
