Conjunctions exercise

Conjunctions are words used to join two clauses. Combine the following sentences using a conjunction
1. He is not intelligent. He is not brave.
2. You work hard. You cannot pass the examination.
3. He is busy. He has no time to talk to anybody.
4. He works very hard. He cannot make both ends meet.
5. He tells lies. He misbehaves with everybody.
6. Walk slowly. You may fall.
7. You must leave this place at once. You will have to face the consequences.
8. He was not allowed to take the test. He was late.
9. He has already proved his mettle. Nobody can doubt his eligibility for the post.
10. I cannot help you. You have never stood by me.
Answers
1. He is neither intelligent nor brave.
2. Unless you work hard, you cannot pass the examination.
3. He is so busy that he has no time to talk to anybody.
4. Though he works hard, he cannot make both ends meet.
5. He not only tells lies but also misbehaves with everybody.
6. Walk slowly or else you may fall.
7. You must leave this place at once or else you will have to face the consequences.
8. Since / as he was late, he was not allowed to take the test.
9. Since he has already proved his mettle, nobody can doubt his eligibility for the post.
10. I cannot help you because you have never stood by me.
